One way to speed up & simplify access to the VISX dashboard is by adding VISX as a web app to your mobile phone.
There are two ways to accomplish this, based on if you’re using an iPhone or an Android phone. Below are the step-by-step instructions for how to add VISX to your phone’s home screen, as well as an instructional video that demonstrates the process for you.
So whether you are hosting a VISX LIVE event or a VISX DIRECT session, this is the fastest & easiest way to access your account & kick start your experience.
For iPhone:
- Step 1) Open Safari
- Step 2) Go to dash.visx.live
- Step 3) Log in & then on the bottom of your screen, select the box with upward-facing arrow
- Step 4) Scroll down & select “Add to Home Screen”
- Step 5) Choose a display name & then click “Add” in the top right of your screen
- Step 6) The VISX Web App will be added to your home screen, you can then move the app to a convenient location on your mobile phone
For Android:
- Step 1) Open Google Chrome.
- Step 2) Go to dash.visx.live
- Step 3) Select the “ ⋮ ” icon at the top right of your screen.
- Step 4) Select the “Add to Home Screen” option.
- Step 5) Choose a display name for the application. We recommend “VISX” or “VISX Live”
- Step 6) Click “Add”
- Step 7) Now, you can either select a specific spot on your screen for the application to appear or you can press “Add automatically”
- Step 8) Finally, if you exit out of Chrome, you should see the web application next to all your other applications.
